Family Engagement and Involvement
The NCMHJJ convened several meetings to review possible options for a final Strategic Innovation Group project to be undertaken by the Mental Health/Juvenile Justice Action Network. By the end of the meetings, several important areas were identified: training juvenile justice staff, empowering families, and adapting an existing parent advocacy curriculum. This document summarizes the involved states’ activities related to those areas.
