This sixth Webinar in the 2014 series, School Discipline Laws and Regulations will be held on June 11, 2014, at 3:30 p.m. ET. This 90-minute Webinar will provide an in-depth review of the Compendium of School Discipline Laws and Regulations, a key document in the recently released School Discipline Guidance Package, and discuss the latest trends in policy making related to school discipline and implications for implementing new policy at the local level.
The Webinar will be moderated by Greta Colombi (American Institutes for Research), and feature key experts in the field who have a deep knowledge of school discipline laws and regulations, including: Victoria Cassell (EMT Associates), Kristen Darling Churchill (Child Trends), Mike Thompson (Council of State Governments, Justice Center), and Elona Street-Stewart (recently retired St. Paul Public Schools School Board of Education Director)

~ Explore how to find and use state laws and regulations related to school discipline
~ Understand the latest trends in school discipline policy making
~ Discuss states and districts that are implementing laws and regulations that align with the supportive school discipline principles
